Who builds Retasc

Retasc is a work queue for AI coding agents. Its 2 co-founders, Mihnea de Vries and Andrey Khayrullaev, build it on Retasc itself.

What Retasc is

Agents in Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other MCP clients pull issues from the same remote queue. Two agents can never hold the same issue. An agent calls next_issue to claim the highest effective-priority issue that is unblocked and unclaimed.

The people behind Retasc

We are Retasc’s 2 co-founders, with no employees or contractors.

Co-founder · engine and backend

Mihnea de Vries

He took Scooterson, the ML-powered e-scooter he founded, to mass production with more than $3M from HAX SOSV and Elevate VC. He has more than 20 years across tech, marketing and film. He pioneered drone cinematography in Eastern Europe.

Co-founder · product and frontend

Andrey Khayrullaev

He has 12 years as a CEO. He founded Daatrics, taking its Neebo baby wearable to mass production with $2M raised. He grew 200, a performance-marketing platform, to $2M a year. He founded Reply200 and ran it to breakeven in its first year.

We build Retasc on Retasc

Every change to Retasc, down to this page, goes through the same queue and MCP server our customers use. Our agents claim the issues, and we review their work. We went from the first line of code to a live product in 14 weeks.
